Web Page Traffic Feeder: Safe Investment or Moron's Guide to Investing?
Many of the common household word names in the money and investing arena can provide you with valuable insight for increasing your wealth. Of all the king's horses and all the king's men in the investing order that is online, no one brings to you a more in-depth report on how to invest like a moron as the Cyberculture News' Money and Investing Column. The only online news source that comes close is The Motley Fool ... and that is only because the gist of it's name.
The Los Angeles Times, Fox News, Defamer, E! Online and the Huffington Post are some of the most respected and read sources of online news. Recently, they all reported that the Brooklyn Bridge was sold. In that we can trust the integrity and high standards of the reporting associated with the L.A.Times and Fox News, as well as all the others, there is no need to read the complete story. The headline says it all ... News flash: Donald Trump sells Brooklyn Bridge - Los Angeles Times
Sources from merger and acquisition (M & A) firms have informed this financial reporter that no legal documents have been filed with any court that would establish any such commercial transaction taking place. These same authorities have stated that the Brooklyn Bridge has been on the selling block for some time. Two other financial experts had confirmed that the bridge was not sold and even offered to sell it to me.
The Cyberculture News does not want to waste your valuable time. It is suggested you go immediately to Google Maps and verify that the bridge is still there. Find the location and zoom in with Google's aerial view. It's only logical and prudent that when someone buys something, they take their purchase with them. If the bridge is still there, no one bought it.
Cyberculture News' Investment Tips:
1) Multiple agents attempting to sell the bridge places it in a buyer's market.
2) M.& A. authorities state the Brooklyn Bridge has been on the selling block for some time.
3) Suggest you submit a low ball bid so you can purchase it at a distress price.
The next step is to analyze the potential market for this infrastructure and what type of return on investment, (ROI) one can expect by flip flopping this investment.
Cyberculture News' Investment Terminology:
Flip Flopping is the act of purchasing an investment and immediately reselling it for a profit.
For the savvy Cyberculture News investor, the answers are going to appear like a spontaneous flash mob gathering in their brain. Coming forward first is their knowledge that a clandestine smart mob is looking for a bridge to cross the Digital Divide. The second idea is that there are millions of web page executives seeking ways to increase traffic to their respective sites. For the unsavvy investor, the Brooklyn Bridge is a traffic feeder. It steers and carries traffic to designated sites.
Cyberculture News' Investment Tips: Potential buyers:
(1) Covert smart mob looking to bridge the Digital Divide.
(2) Millions of traffic seeking web pages.
(3) Don't forget the opportunity to list and sell the bridge on EBay.
Last, but not least of today's investment advice is for you to use all of your own money to make this purchase. If you are in need of an additional cash source, take advantage of the spam e-mail that is offering millions of dollars for free.
In summary, the Brooklyn Bridge is for sale.
Probably can be bought at a distressed price.
Sources for funding the purchase have been identified.
Successful flip flopping strategy very likely.
Buyers are motivated, it's a seller's market.
In our next report, learn how to invest like a moron in the Green Economy. Recycle valuable swamp land and turn "garbage" land filled sites into playgrounds for your children.
From all of us, may you and yours have a safe, happy and prosperous circumcision year.

An Entertaining Read of the Headlines
For most folks, no news is good news; for the press, good news is not news. ~ Gloria Borger
The above quote points out two significant contrasting trends in modern culture. The general public is not interested in "negative news" and yet, the mass media industry prefers to channel "Negative news" to the public.
Here is your chance to break away from the dominated negative news headlines. Enjoy an entertaining read of the headlines from the Miami Herald and Dave Barry's Year in Review 2007. The following are selected excerpts from the news categories.
World News: Iranian President Mahmoud ''Scooter'' Ahmadinejad, speaking at Columbia University, defends his denial of the Holocaust and claims there are no gays in Iran. He and his entourage then head to Greenwich Village to shop for chaps.
Business News: The dollar continued to lose value against all major foreign currencies and most brands of bathroom tissue. The slump in home sales continues into the new year, with a total, nationwide, of one home sold in January.
Political News: Several courageous members of the U.S. Congress -- it could be as many as a dozen -- decided, incredibly, not to run for president.
Technology News: The release of the Apple iPhone, which, in addition to enabling you to make phone calls, has all kinds of brilliant and innovative features, including AutoFondle, an application that enables the iPhone to fondle itself during those times when you are unable to fondle it manually because you're sleeping or undergoing surgery from wounds you sustained when friends or co-workers finally lost it and beat you senseless to make you shut up about your freaking iPhone already.
Sports News: In sports, a wildly unpredictable season of college football, marked by a slew of upsets, ends with the Bowl Championship Series computer awarding the final No. 1 ranking to Bryn Mawr College. The Owls will play the BCS computer's No. 2 ranked team, Vassar, for the 2007 national championship in the Sugar Bowl, scheduled to be played, because of TV-marketing requirements, next July. I go to the all women's Bryn Mawr College... I didn't know we had a football team. LOL!
Entertainment News: Rosie O'Donnell announces that she will leave the TV show The View to pursue a career making bizarre statements on the Internet. Although O'Donnell claims her departure is amicable, insiders say she tried to oust Barbara Walters as the show's producer, a move that Walters was able to repel by blasting the outspoken comedienne with 150,000 cubic feet of hairspray, which, for Barbara, is nearly a two-day supply.
Weather News: As May draws to a close and the Atlantic hurricane season looms, weather experts, having reviewed all their data and their sophisticated computer models, announce that they have absolutely no clue what is going to happen.
Health News: President Bush undergoes a colonoscopy; congressional Democrats immediately pass a resolution condemning the procedure, while maintaining that they ''fully support the colonoscope.''
Environmental News: Al Gore's ''Live Earth,'' a massive rock concert in which more than 150 music acts perform at 11 locations around the world to fight global warming, which is swiftly brought to its knees.
If you enjoyed the above excerpts, you will definitely enjoy reading the complete Dave Barry's Year in Review 2007 article. News is entertaining.
Cyberculture News Names Year of the Circumcision

New Year's resolution: Getting circumcised.
Party on dude for ye should be praying!
New research from a contention of religious scholars has surfaced and is questioning the name for the 1st day of the year. The research provides facts that the 1st day of the new year is also a celebrated day pooh poohed by the Vatican and 100's of millions of Catholics worldwide. The Church of England and the Eastern Orthodox Catholic Church also rejoice in this feast. It is called "The Feast of the Circumcision of Our Lord" day.
In light of the fact that "The Feast of the Circumcision of Our Lord" day was historically acknowledged before New Years Day, many are suggesting that New Years Eve be renamed, The Eve of Circumcision and New Years Day be renamed, Circumcision Day. Also, instead of using the "Happy New Year" expression, promoters are suggesting a "Happy Circumcision" greeting.
Recent brainstorming sessions evolved with conflicting opinions relative to exactly when The Eve of Circumcision and Circumcision Day should begin. They are creating an interest in Circumcision Day and jeopardizing the current status of the 1st day of the year label.
Geographical and cultural cliques have emerged from all around the globe insisting that The Eve of Circumcision and Circumcision Day should commence with their own exclusive hour, minute and second within their respective time and space environment. Insular sectors are not only dividing continents, but also creating fractions in countries and their respective states, townships and local jurisdictions.
Some cultures are erecting Stonehenge like monuments as depicted by the mysterious photo rumored to be found on an uncharted isolated land mass near the Easter Islands.
For those that are interested in having New Years Day renamed to Circumcision Day, make sure you greet everyone you meet with the phrase, "Happy Circumcision Day" rather than the retro, "Happy New Year." Enthusiates may also want to organize or participate in a "Happy Circumcision Day" flash mob on January 1st.
Have a safe and Happy Circumcision Day!
Sex, Symbols and Communication
Someone once said that symbolism is an instrument of knowledge and the most ancient and fundamental method of expression. In other words, it is the oldest and simplest form of communication. Speaking from a philosophical perspective, it could be debated that sex is the oldest and simplest form of communication. Which brings to mind, an age old question. What came first, the chicken or the egg? For this particular issue pertaining to the first form of communication, allow me to rephrase that question. What came first, sex or symbols?
One witnesses correlations between sex, symbols and communication every time they turn on the TV or open a magazine. The goose that laid the golden egg for the present day mass media advertising industry was an offspring from sex symbols and communication. History informs us that the public display of early sexually connotated content was censored by most of the well respected media outlets. Ironically, an early 20th century sex symbol that is analogous with a 21st century communication symbol brought about our present day social sexual standards.
According to Wikipedia, MAE West is a network access point located in the state of California and handles as much as 40 percent of the nation's Internet traffic. The MAE (short for Metropolitan Area Ethernet) is the second busiest intersection in Cyberculture.
The Mae West of burlesque and Hollywood fame during the 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's brought the first sexually connotated subject material to the general public. Eighty years ago , she was arrested on charges of public obscenity for displaying SEX on a Broadway marquee.
Did Mae West's sexual content offend the general public back in the day? Would her persona offend people now? You decide whether her material is offensive. The following is one of Mae West's most memorable year end holiday season quotes.
"My left leg is Christmas and my right leg is New Year's. Why don't you visit me between the holidays?" ~ Mae West
As you can see, both of the above two Mae West are symbols. Mae West, the communications symbol is a critical leg in the infrastructure of the Web. She helps to provide a continuous flow of information and knowledge throughout Cyberculture. Mae West, the sex symbol was instrumental in delivering the continuous flow of sexual content for today's mass media advertising industry.
Wikipedia states that Mae West's Film, She Done Him Wrong (1933), had fans going wild over the sexy starlet because she was something that was unheard of and dramatically different from anything presented before.
Answer me this. Is it safe to say that Mae West, the network access point and communications symbol received a similar response from the general public for the same reasons?
Nerd's Twas the Night before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
Not a browser was stirring, till movement of a mouse;
The media was posting the news with care
The stories of Christmas were in the air.
The sites were nestled all snug on the Web
With visions of rank in their head;
And interface in the color of blue, and I in gaze,
keyword searched the latest news craze.
When out from the screen there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my daze to see what was the matter;
Away to Windows I flew like a flash,
Made open the address and sorted the mash.
The size of the texts on the new found page
Enlarged the graphics on the reader Sage;
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a headline on Queen, UK holds dear.
With a little over eighty, so lively and quick,
She be reason for YouTube page click;
More rapid than eagles her kingdom shall come,
For she is to be seen, by everyone.
Now, SlashDot! now, Yahoo! now, Microsoft and Flickr!
For, FaceBook! for, Apple! for, MySpace! and AWOL!
To the top of the ratings! YouTube shall go!
So dash away! dash away! dash away You all!
As the RSS feed ended, another came forth,
The Queen's YouTube makes it a dwarf,
Candle light shining thru window glass,
The Pope delivered the midnight mass.
Not to be outdone by the royal broadband,
Papal takes offerings from all Web-land;
Not the PayPal that you and I know,
Sure to confuse and cause a few row.
Google did not speak nor utter a single line
Went straight to the data, not wasting time;
Crawled the Web for news search finding,
leaving me happy, no negative minding.
A single stroke of an index finger,
news on the Web no longer linger;
Before the terminal changes to black,
Firewall gave no sign of a hack.
Intel microchip about to shut down,
Wishing you this greeting, recently found;
Have a happy and safe holiday is politically right,
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night.
British Royal Family Endorses YouTube? Queen to EgoSurf the Web

Reuters News is reporting that Queen Elizabeth of England shall be broadcasting her annual Christmas Day message on YouTube and that Buckingham Palace announced The Royal Channel that contains archive footage of the royal family and its events.
In light of the fact that Buckingham Palace failed to incorporate a non-endorsement statement into there press release, can one perceive the Queen's Christmas Day message on YouTube as a holiday gift to Google. Can we expect to see a Sir Google in the near future?
Buckingham Palace also released information that Queen Elizabeth is going to secretively view her YouTube message.
Should someone inform the Queen that she is egosurfing the Web? Nah!
Cyberculture News:World: Cyber Cold War
Are we witnessing the initial phase of a Cyberculture Cold War?
The above question is asked because rumors and innuendos pertaining to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's blog are emerging in Cyberculture. Some are suggesting that Ahmadinejad is using his public blog site as a tool to communicate with international terrorist groups. Others are hinting that England's MI-5 intelligence agency and the CIA in the United States are orchestrating a covert world wide conspiracy to discredit the Iranian president's blog.
In that blogging is very popular in cyberculture, answer me this. How many world political leaders have their own personal blog? Why would a world political figure want a blog? Don't they have enough government related problems to worry about? These questions need to be given some serious considerations in light of all the cyberculture news articles relevant to the current political issues in the Middle East.
To find a link to Ahmadinejad's Blog and to discover other controversial questions and issues pertaining to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's blog, please read Ahmadinejad's Blog: Embedded with Cryptic Coded Messages? After reading this article, one can only hope that the CIA and MI-5 intelligence analyst are keeping close tabs on what is being written in Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's personal blog.
"Oh, what a tangled web we weave,
When first we practice to deceive.
But when we've practiced for a while,
How vastly we improve our style!" ~ J.R. Pope
J.R. Pope's quote foretells the first of many blogs that shall be used as weapons in the Cyberculture Cold War."

Ahmadinejad's Blog Embedded with Cryptic Coded Messages?
Leaked sources from a variety of intelligence gathering agencies, including England's MI-5, the CIA in the United States and Interpol have suggested that Iran's President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's Blog contains cryptic coded messages that are intended for international terrorist groups. One intelligence authority that wished to be nameless stated that the best place to hide something is to place it in the open view of the public. President Ahmadinejad's blog is an ingenious means for communicating with terrorist organizations.
An anonymous individual with close connections to the Iranian Government rebuked those erroneous reports. He stated that the leaked intelligence was an attempt to deliver misinformation and nothing but a preconceived conspiracy theory to discredit President Ahmadinejad's blog. In support of his president, this same source explained that "the blog" is an extended olive branch seeking to establish an open line of communications with the world. "This blog initiative is one of many projects where our leaders shall lead by example so other world leaders may better understand us and benefit from our knowledge. Being
the leader that he is, President Ahmadinejad is encouraging all world leaders to follow his lead."
No official comment was forthcoming from the Israeli Government in reference to the leaked intelligence agencies' reports or remarks. Although, an "unofficial" story emitted from the Mossad, Israel's intelligence gathering agency. The story is suggesting that the
aforementioned blog is an Iranian diplomatic gesture for communicating peace, good will and gift giving during this holiday season. It goes on to say that the perfect gift for the Iranian Government to give to the West is a game. A game of communications and knowledge. A game where the rules or codes are meant to be broken by all players. A game called Scrabble, Cryptic Coded.
In summary, many questions need to be asked and be answered pertaining to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's blog.
Does President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's blog contain cryptic coded messages that are intended for international terrorist groups?
Did the CIA deliberately leak intelligence in an attempt to deliver misinformation to discredit President Ahmadinejad's blog?
Did the CIA & MI 5 support a preconceived conspiracy theory to cause damage to President Ahmadinejad's blog?
Is President Ahmadinejad's blog altruistic and without any hidden messages?
If there are cryptic coded messages within this blog, what is the key to breaking the code?
The one thing that is a given about Ahmadinejad's blog is that every letter of every word shall be read and analyzed more then any other blog ever posted.
